Andrew has been passionate about God’s message of love and ministry to the marginalized ever since finding hope in Jesus and belonging in the church during his teen years. Andrew is visionary and strategic, but he prefers to lead by lifting others up to be who God made them to be. An LA native, he bleeds Lakers purple and gold and can tell you what’s on the brunch menu at every place in town.
As Thrive’s Pastor of Discipleship, Jordan is passionate about people experiencing and understanding the love of Jesus through relational growth and investment. His mantra for life is “Wherever you are, there you are,” which serves as a marker to be purposeful with every moment, every relationship, and every opportunity. People, sports, and adventure round off his list of favorite things. His wife, Lacey, truly is his better half… and if you’re an Enneagram nerd too, you’ll love to know that he is a 2wing3.
Seeing people find their place in God’s family brings joy to Katie's soul. She loves helping new friends build community and seek Jesus together. Seattle-born, she ventured to California to attend college and fell in love both with her husband Andrew and with the city of Los Angeles. She enjoys learning new board games, playing with her son Dax, reading biographies, checking out ice cream shops, and spending time with friends.
The best way to describe Abraham's role at thrive is as a gifted bridge-builder. He helps us understand and experience God through a variety of mediums, and he helps people (especially creatives!) collaborate for God's glory. An East LA native, Abraham loves worshiping in Spanish and English, bringing old and young together, and learning about others. When he's not eating açaí bowls with his wife Coree, hosting friends for dinner, filming a skate video, or playing his guitar you can find him teaching math at Sotomayor Art and Science Magnet.
